Guys , sorry to say that , i really need to share one of the mother fucker bad experience having our lunch at Lucky Palace Restaurant Seremban .

Last Wednesday 15th Sept 2010 - 12.30pm , during our lunch time , me and a few of my colleagues and frens went there to had our lunch which we had plan it long time ago .

So , once we take our seats , the SAP GAO Captain came to take order . So we order a Suckling Pig , a few vege as well. The SAP GAO Captain asked whether we want a fish ? We agreed and asked her what type of fish they have. So SAP GAO replied that they got "Hong Fei Zao" and "Bak Sou Gong" . So we all said it clear that we want a "Hong Fei Zao" .

After that , all the dishes is being serve , suddenly , that SAP GAO brought a bis "Bak Sou Gong" in. Then we said we never order that. Then She raise her fucking voice like a bottle stuck in her asshole ... "I heard that you all ordered BAK SOU GONG". So we think of , oklor , since is here d, then we just accept it lor . NIA MA KE HAI , when we almost finished up the fish and turn the other side of the fish .... suddenly one of my fellow colleague found a DIRTY WOODERN CLIP .

PKM, i straight away ask the SAP GAO Captain to come . She quickly brong the thing into the kitchen . NIA HAI , then we ask her how . The SAP GAO CAPTAIN reply : "don't worry , if you ever got food poisoning , just bring the medical bills in , we will claim it for you !!!"

Kanninabu (not Japanese ya) , the fire suddenly burnt our head !!! I straight away go and "DIAO" them : " I don't care . I won's ever pay for the fish !!!" . Asshole , somemore the fish cost Rm176 for the SAP GAO BAK SOU KONG !!!!

So we only pay for the rest of the vege we ordered . And all the Staff and the SAP GAO CAPTAINS ... Oooops , not only SAP GAO CAPTAIN , and another FUCK GAO CAPTAIN also the same. Their face really like - AN OLD MOTHER FUCKER PROSTITUTE BEING FUCKED FRONT AND BACK FOR FREE !!

I think im not the only one complaining about them , a lot of my frens also complaint that their food is not clean , the staff face there is just like LACK OF SEX !!! A lot of flies.....

Guys , if you ever wanna go there , please think twice . For me , i had BAN them for the rest of my life . Guys , if you were planning your wedding dinner there . Pls , pls , don't invite me . I won'tcome , but my Ang Bao will come .

This rom is based on the AOSP Desire builds. Here
The kernel is from Cotulla's branch, his latest updates can be found Here

This build is a clean and stock build, with NO HTC Sense included.

Nearly everything works, it's much easier to list what ISN'T working:

Update: Seems like bluetooth is a no go for now

Welcome to the "EnergyROM" thread !

This development thread is for my "Energy" custom firmware series for the HTC Touch HD2 (Leo) device.

The current build numbers and date can be seen in the title of this thread. I usually update the ROMs every few days, as new builds come down the pipe.

I also build my ROMs with four main goals.
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
Speed !!!
Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
Stability through private beta testing before public release

I pre-configure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the box.

I recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization). Backing up with SPB Backup or similar products, is NOT recommended, as they tend to backup the previous release's registry/file bugs as well!

Looking at the second post where all the ROMs downloads are you will find two core versions of each ROM.

The 21905Build which is the most reliable and bug free release. It has the Start menu button at the top left corner! I recommend you start with this first!

The 23569 Build that's the latest in the 6.5.5 series with the Start menu button at the bottom left corner and big softkeys. These builds are not as stable or perfect, but they reflect the latest cutting edge technology from Microsoft. These are also much more finger friendly throughout.

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD AND FLASH ANY OF THESE ROMS, MAKE SURE YOUR RADIO VERSION IS AT LEAST 2.07.50 (not 51! any .50 version should be okay) , OR YOUR PHONE WILL NOT BOOTUP AFTER YOU FLASH !

- This is the best ROM version and the way Sense should have been designed by HTC Offers the biggest customization ability out of all versions. You can add/remove bars or items, arranges items on the homescreen any way you like

Cookie Reference
- This is a ROM that has no modifications applied to Sense, except the Cookie mod. It retains the stock green everywhere.
- It also features a greatly reduced number of applications, compared to my normal ROMs.
- Stock 3 row start menu arrangement.
- This is a "very close to stock" ROM, but with a small bit of the "energy" flair to it + Cookie hometab !

- This is the same as the Cookie version above, but with Dinik's glass theme applied on everything.
- Everything has been skinned, including Sense, the start menu items, the soft keyboard, parts of the dialer... etc

ROM features at a glance:

- Very fast startup time. You find any startup wizards in this ROM. You'll be up and running in a couple minutes after flashing the ROM.
- XDA_UC is built in. It will import your custom XML and REG files from your storage card after first boot.
- My own Settings Exporter application is found in the Tools folder. Use it to export all your settings after you customize the device. When a new ROM comes down the line, use it to import everything and save time.
- Everything is setup to use the phone right after flashing. Sounds, notifications, etc
- The HTC Messaging client is removed, leaving the windows built SMS client for much faster texting...

- The Settings Exporter now checks if the \Storage card\XDA_UC\Exporter directory exists and if it doesn't it will create it.
- 23569 / 63 Hybrid build. Too many issues in the latest builds. This should be a lot more stable than 68 or other 69 builds.
- Fix for VGA MaxManila ROMs with high icon position when scrolling through tabs.
- CHT Editor updated to the latest version (that can export)
- Added Notification Manager from the HTC Huashan (WVGA devices only)
- Settings Exporter at 1.1, now exports Sense 2.5 quicklinks and internet tab shortcuts, had ability to set/detect "Automatic" import mode to on/off (look in the menu)
- Changed XDA_UC reg/xml parsing engine. Maybe it'll work better now for some of the users that were having problems importing XMLs
- About 20% complete with the Start_Icon_ApplicationName.png icon convention I talked about in the Chef forum
- Putting the latest Opera 9.7 back in the ROMs. Opera 10 causes too much system instability for my taste and while its pretty, its still too unstable.
- Revised and shorted startup routine
- Added vibration feedback to XDAUC as each section completes.
- New GTX theme (removed grass... reverted to original).
- Removed annoying beeps when touching the bottom taskbar area on the homescreen
- Skinned dialer for the GTX theme

Co0kie’s Home Tab Mod for HTC Sense 2.5 has been a huge hit over the past couple of months, so it’s not surprising to see users excited, yet again, for another update. This time, the mod has reached version 1.7 and brings incredible new features to the table. Believe it or not, Co0kieMonster and his team have found a way to take the mod to a new level of customization.

There’s now a customizable lock screen with parts of Sense nicely integrated. Items on the Home tab can be moved around/customized and the Home Tab Editor has been redone with more options. Check out the video and change log below, then visit XDA-developers to download the easily installable CAB files for Co0kie’s Home Tab Mod and johncmolyneux’s CHTEditor.

This development thread is for my "Energy" custom firmware series for the HTC Touch Pro (Raphael) device.

The current build numbers and date can be seen in the title of this thread. He usually update the ROMs every few days, as new builds come down the pipe.

He also build my ROMs with four main goals.
- Eye candy ( He want his ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
- Speed !!!
- Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
- Stability through private beta testing before public release

He pre-configure a lot of things in his ROM, because when he flash it on my phone, he want it ready to go. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the box.

He recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization). Backing up with SPB Backup or similar products, is NOT recommended, as they tend to backup the previous release's registry/file bugs as well!

Looking at the download folder you will find two core versions of my ROM.

The 21892 Build which is the most reliable and bug free release. It has the Start menu button at the top left corner! He recommend you start with this first!

The 23542 Build that's the latest in the 6.5.5 series with the Start menu button at the bottom left corner and big softkeys. These builds are not as stable or perfect, but they reflect the latest cutting edge technology from Microsoft. These are also much more finger friendly throughout.

These days, he make a "MaxManila" version and a "Cookie Monster" version. He would advise you go checkout the original threads for these modifications to learn how to use them in my ROM. All questions regarding these special ROMs, should be posted in the original threads. The reason he make ROMs with these modifications already in them, is simple. They run better and faster when "cooked in". Anything you install in cab format after a ROM flash, will slow down your phone compared to when it's already in the ROM. Keep in mind these mods aren't always perfect, as they're developed by regular people like you and him. Therefore, bugs will be present. Please don't complain in this thread about bugs with these mods, but rather make the original developer aware of them so they can improve them.

KNOWN / CONFIRMED ISSUES

1. HTC messaging is somewhat weird and sometimes a pain. This is due to the new, stupid, built in htc messaging app Jataayu made for HTC. Various workarounds exist and it is best to search the thread, reading hte posts most recent to the version you have flashed.

Some things have been fixed along the way:
A) Sending SMS messages via HTC (Manila) interface - can't add contacts to recipient list (Manila) - 20091104r1
B) Sending SMS Messages via WM (Start, Internet, Messaging) interface - messages stay in Outbox - 20091104r1
C) Can't delete SMS/MMS messages via HTC interface

2. Footprints doesnt work IN ANY custom ROMs. Why ? Because the footcam.exe file required for it to take "footprints pictures" is designed for the Leo and doesn't work on any other device. This ROM has a workaround in place to open the existing camera and take a GPS photo that you could use in footprints, but you have to MANUALLY move that picture in the Footprints folder.

3. Shortcuts on the homescreen are strange in early version and didn't always work as intended. Blame the porting job on this one. The chef has never had problems with them in the WVGA ROMs. This is resolved in later versions.

4. Ezinputsettings.exe cant be launched from the settings screen. Manila 2.5 is expecting ezinput 2.1 which is not present in this ROM. 1.5 is cooked in to stay compatible with the Fuze's keyboard. You can install your own Ezinput 2.1 if you want but be warned that it doesn't play well with the Fuze.

5. Weather animations are slow. Yes... they're slow on any 2.5 ROM. Why ? Manila 2.5 is designed to work okay on a 1 Ghz processor. We have half of that on our phones. The MaxManila version allows you to turn those off on the Home screen.

6. The settings of homebackground pictures is broken and is broken in WVGA ROMs as well. You can however still set one if you really play with it. (that didnt sound right, I know.. lol)

7. The custom EnergyROM transparent slider icons overlap sometimes. If you don't like that use the "restore to stock" cabs.

What is S2U2?
S2U2 (Slide2Unlock2) is a simple lock/unlock application which has the iPhone style slide unlocking. It can be used as a screensaver while you don't use your device. It has a CallerID function (but it may not work on some devices, so try it before use it daily); S2P control plugin; and volume control. S2U2 shows many system information even without unlocking and highly customizable.

Prerequisite:
- WM5 Phone or WM6/6.1/6.5 Professional devices
- free RAM: at least 1M for QVGA/WQVGA; 4M for VGA/WVGA
- free storage space: at least 2M for QVGA/WQVGA; 4M for VGA/WVGA

Changes of v2.33
- changed the "slide to dismiss/cancel" option to the right-hand-side of the slider so as to synchronize with the OS.
(Sorry for the confusion caused so far)
- added option to lock all message/notification/task preview when "Lock System Notification" is on (S2U2 Settings > General).
- added option to auto snooze an active alarm when power off (S2U2 Settings > General).
- added "slide to snooze" when an alarm/reminder is shown on the lock screen ("Lock System Notification" must be on).
- added option to shuffle the password keypad (S2U2 Settings > Password).
- extended the "Lock on Talk" to lock the dialing screen if CallerID is enabled.
- added support to the proximity sensor of HD2 (probably also Pro2):
1) when the device is locked, turn the device off if the proximity sensor is blocked (S2U2 Settings > Power).
2) when the device wakes up, unlock the device if the proximity sensor is not blocked (S2U2 Settings > Power).
* the auto lock/unlock will be temporarily disabled if there is a message prompt (e.g. Alarm/SMS) shown on the lock screen.
- added option to show current weather info if weather info is shown from Pocket Weather / TouchFLO 2D / TouchFLO 3D (S2U2 Settings > Information). If you want to know why other weather applications are not supported yet, read the FAQ.
- added option to cache each frame of a GIF wallpaper by device memory (S2U2 Settings > Wallpaper).
This option reduces the memory usage of S2U2 when uses a GIF wallpaper; it loads faster & capable to load very large GIF file (depends on how many free device main memory is left). But it also consumes the device main memory; lesser smooth animation; & definitely consumes more battery.
- added option to toggle the system volume ("slide to ringer/vibrate") when the slider is positioned at center (S2U2 Settings > Appearance).
- added option to change the sliding text size (S2U2 Settings > Appearance).
- added option to lock/unlock when the device is connected to a cradle (S2U2 Settings > Others).
- added option to not to lock the HTC long End key press (S2U2 Settings > Advanced).
- added a small music icon on the system bar to be shown if any one of the following music applications is running:
S2P, TouchFLO 2D/3D Music Player, Windows Media Player, MortPlayer, Pocket Music, Pocket Player & Nitrogen.
So if you suspect S2U2 is draining the power, check if a music icon is shown on the top system bar. When either one of these music applications is running, S2U2 will not turn off the power, but only turn off the screen.

If you need to manually map a key to invoke the new Volume Control, extract the S2U2-VC.LNK from this file (s2u2-vc.zip) & transfer it to your device's \Windows\Start Menu\Programs\S2U2 (for Non-English device, it varies), then use any key mapping software (some devices have it come along) to map this S2U2-VC to your preferred key.

But it assumes S2U2 is installed at \Program Files\S2U2. You may read HERE for how to create a LNK file.

The evolvement of the interface itself was good, but the designers began to imitate Samsung.

GTX Sense is – what I think – the way HTC should design. I am not saying they should make a white theme, but that fancy flashing stuff is everything except eyecandy.
The design of this theme is mainly inspired by HTC.com and the ZuneHD. The clean look of those interfaces is just excellent.

It’s been a hard job to get everything working. It was not only graphics work, but also a lot of scripts needed to be enhanced.
That’s where I want to thank Kamill for his help in this project. He has been a good friend, and it was a pleasure to work with him.

How does it work
This theme covers the whole Sense 2.5 UI. That means that there will be 360+ graphics and 35+ scripts replaced after installing it.

How does it work

But there’s more: Add-ons
Anyone with only a little bit of knowledge will now that everyone has his own taste. That’s why I included Add-ons.
These Add-ons are packages that can be installed after installing the theme.
You can, for example, install a different clock because you don’t like the current one. Or you want to add some more color to the theme.
Go to post #2 to find out how to install the theme and the Add-ons.

The installation procedure goes as follows:
- Stop Manila.
- Select your resolution and make sure you download the CFCDisabled version if you are using a stock ROM. Install it on the Internal Storage (Diamond)/SD Card.
The Cab contains:
i) The main theme Cab
ii) SD Config Tool by ervius (thanks!)
iii) A Cab That enables the Manila Locker if installed
iv) The Add-ons.

- Start the SD Config Tool. There you can select the Main theme and the desired Add-ons.
- The SD Config Tool will automatically install the files one after another, but you do need to manually select Main memory before every install.
- The theme is now installed, perform a soft-reset and launch Manila.
- Check if everything works fine. After that, please use our Feedback Form to give us the best feedback so we can fix any problems.
- Even if everything works for you, we would greatly appreciate it if you could fill in the form for us.
- Eventually, you can remove the installation files if you want (Uninstall 'GTX Installation Package').

HTC HD Mini lock screen cab now available for download

The HTC HD Mini features a pretty nice lock screen, as can be seen from the video above.

Michyprima has now made the software available as a cab, which I have tested on the HTC HD2 and found to work pretty well.

Michyprima warns that the PIN lock screen however no longer works, so if you use this security on your phone this cab will not be suitable.

Back in November of last year, we came across a set of teardown images for the HTC HD2. It was carefully taken apart and put on display like art – which is always an intriguing sight to behold. Well, now we’ve stumbled across step-by-step video manuals with detailed disassembling and assembling procedures. The blue lab coat, robotic-toned narration and subtitles suggest that these are official training materials from HTC. Watch it get torn down and then rebuilt again within 14 minutes in the videos below.

NRGZ28 build this ROMs with four main goals.
- Eye candy
- Speed !!!
- Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
- Stability through private beta testing before public release

He preconfigure a lot of things in his ROM, because when he flash it on his phone, he want it ready to go, how he'd want it. So, expect the backlight to be set at the maximum brightness, the ringtone, sms/email and other notifications to already be set. Doing it this way, makes for a nice ROM that's ready out of the 'box'.

You will find a new ROM posted here every few days, as he always update them with the latest "ingredients" that come down the pipe, from either Microsoft or HTC. Because of that, he recommend learning to backup your settings with either Sashimi or UC (User Customization). He also provide an example script to use to save your email settings in one of the posts below.

You will find TWO core versions of my ROM.

The 218912 Build is from the OEM COM2 Tree and is the most reliable and bug free release. I recommend you start with this first!

And...

The 23529 Build that's the latest in the 6.5.5 series with the Start/Close buttons at the bottom. These builds are not as stable but they reflect the latest cutting edge technology from Microsoft.

This is an HTC Raphael ROM, based on Windows Mobile 6.5. The current build number and date can be seen in the title of this thread.

I always build my ROMs with three main goals.

If you own a Touch PRO, use the "Keyboard Selector" application under Utilities > Tweaks (after you flash the ROM) to select the "Pro" keyboard layout. The ROM comes with the Fuze layout enabled by default.

KNOWN / CONFIRMED ISSUES

1. Texting is weird and a pain. This is due to the new, stupid, built in htc messaging app Jataayu made for HTC. Unfortunately it's a necessary evil with Manila 2.5. Either use the 'disable' cab found in this thread to disable it and use the built in WinMo pocket outlook to SMS (ink in post #1) or use Pyrorob's Contact Picker and Shared Resource CABs or, most recently, use the workaround provided by jneilliii which can be found HERE.

A) Sending SMS messages via HTC (Manila) interface - can't add contacts to recipient list (Manila) - 20091104r1
B) Sending SMS Messages via WM (Start, Internet, Messaging) interface - messages stay in Outbox - 20091104r1
C) Can't delete SMS/MMS messages via HTC interface

2. Footprints doesnt work IN ANY custom ROMs. Why ? Because the footcam.exe file required for it to take "footprints pictures" is designed for the Leo and doesn't work on any other device. This ROM has a workaround in place to open the existing camera and take a GPS photo that you could use in footprints, but you have to MANUALLY move that picture in the Footprints folder.

3. Shortcuts on the homescreen are strange and dont always work as intended. Blame the porting job on this one. Teh chef has never had problems with them in the WVGA ROMs.

4. Ezinputsettings.exe cant be launched from the settings screen. Manila 2.5 is expecting ezinput 2.1 which is not present in this ROM. 1.5 is cooked in to stay compatible with the Fuze's keyboard. You can install your own Ezinput 2.1 if you want.

5. Weather animations are slow. Yes... they're slow on any 2.5 ROM. Why ? Manila 2.5 is designed to work okay on a 1 Ghz processor. We have half of that on our phones.

6. The settings of homebackground pictures is broken and is broken in WVGA ROMs as well. You can however still set one if you really play with it. (that didnt sound right, I know.. lol)

7. The custom EnergyROM transparent slider icons overlap sometimes. If you don't like that use the "restore to stock" cabs.

SPB Software announced Mobile Shell 5.0 today for Windows Mobile, Android and Symbian. It brings a new 3D engine, Natural Interaction Engine, 3D Widgets, SPB UI Builder, and thorough social network integration. We were able to get a quick demo of version 5.0 for Android earlier, but now we’re seeing video of the Windows Mobile version. The video below takes you through the beautiful 3D carousel and a cool background effect for the sliding panels. We're also hearing that MS 5.0 will be released Q2, maybe Q3 of 2010.

HTC HD2 Seen Running Windows Phone 7: Very, Very Good News

Wow, this is big. At MWC, an HTC HD2 was shown running Windows Phone 7 Series. This means a few things. First, the HD2 can run Microsoft's new software. Second, it increases the chances that HTC will officially issue a Windows Phone 7 Series ugrade for current HD2 owners. Even if they don't, the fact that someone, somewhere, was able to get WP7 onto an HD2 means that it's only a matter of time until the hacking community out there figures it out.

It looks like HTC is looking to capitalize on the success they've had with the HD2 by making a smaller (and less expensive) version of the device. The Touch HD Mini, while not official just yet, should be unveiled shortly at an HTC press event. While specs are unavailable, we're thinking it will have a 3.0" multitouch capacitive display running on Windows Mobile 6.5.3. Also inside may be a less powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, and 256MB of RAM.

Sense 2.5 Mod: 48, 60 or 75 Links with Panels & More Appointments

In this video, we take a look at one of the better mods for the home screen in Sense 2.5. It extends functionality by giving you access to tons of quick links via sliding panels and also by displaying more appointment information. It’s currently in beta, so it’s hit or miss depending on which build of Sense 2.5 you’re running. The creator, Co0kieMonster, will likely come out with separate releases that are compatible with different builds of 2.5.

Stay tuned to Co0kieMonster’s thread on XDA-developers for a final, more stable version of the mod or grab the first beta release from one of his recent posts. If you plan to test the beta, you may want to back-up your files. As you can see in the clip above, I was able to install it without issues (Sense 2.5.2011). The one bug I noticed is that “All Day” appointments don’t show up on the home screen for some reason. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved soon. I was also able to uninstall without issues.

Update: Co0kie's Home Tab beta 2 is now available! It includes a number of bug fixes and now supports all day appointments. The next release is said to be the final version.

Add Call History and increase Quick Links to 60 or 75:

To add a call history bar above your appointments, use a registry editor and navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila\," then go to "Co0kie.ShowCallHistory" and change the value from 0 to 1. The home screen will look cluttered, but some users may need a feature like this.

To expand the quick links from 48 to 60 or 75, navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila\," then go to "Co0kie.QuickLinksMode" and change the value from 0 to 1. I've posted some screenshots below to give you an idea of the massive amount quick links you'll have at your disposal, should you decide to make this edit. You can also increase this to an unbelievable 75 by changing the value to 2.

An updated ROM is now available for HTC HD2 users to download. As always, HTC is committed to providing customers with the best possible mobile experience.

Improved Functions:

Keeping in touch has always been very important, and this update delivers fast and reliable SMS messaging.

Before you proceed, please confirm that this software upgrade is a newer version than what is currently installed on your device. If it is the same version and your device is operating normally, there is no need to reinstall the software.

To check what version is installed on your device, click Start > Settings > System tab > Device Information > Version tab, and note the ROM version, CPU, and Radio version.

Warning!

* This is a generic software update. Any additional software or settings provided by your mobile operator or company will be lost. If you require this customization, please contact your supplier first before upgrading.

* Please note that this upgrade will erase any data stored on the device. Once you proceed with the upgrade, the system can not be downgraded again.

* Please back up your data first before upgrading your device. Before you run the ROM Upgrade Utility (RUU), make sure you check and do the following:

What is S2U2?
S2U2 (Slide2Unlock2) is a simple lock/unlock application which has the iPhone style slide unlocking. It can be used as a screensaver while you don't use your device. It has a CallerID function (but it may not work on some devices, so try it before use it daily); S2P control plugin; and volume control. S2U2 shows many system information even without unlocking and highly customizable.

Prerequisition:
- WM5 Phone or WM6/6.1/6.5 Professional devices
- free RAM: at least 1M for QVGA/WQVGA; 4M for VGA/WVGA
- free storage space: at least 2M for QVGA/WQVGA; 4M for VGA/WVGA

Changes of v2.30
- added option to replace the WM6.5 system manual lock (S2U2 Settings > Advanced).
i.e. press the system start icon/button, then press lock will start S2U2;
suggest to soft-reset after upgraded to this version; if it does not work, please refer to the FAQs.
- added option to change the position of the slider, either left or center (S2U2 Settings > Appearance).
new tags (s_S2DDismiss, s_S2DCancel, s_S2DView & s_CS2UText) added to lang.ini for the texts shown around the slider.

MyMobiler 1.25 Beta Released

MyMobiler has always been a popular (free) utility because it allows users to view and control their Windows phone right from their PC. You can use your computer’s mouse and keyboard as input methods, take screenshots, record video, and even drop files from your PC to your device. With the last update dated back in 2008, it’s surprising to see that the developer has silently released a beta earlier this week. Although it’s dated for January 17 of this year, the update isn’t reflected in the changelog.

The guys at PPCGeeks have noted that the beta is a bit “snappier” and there’s now a notification that pops up on your PC when a new message has arrived on your device, though it only lasts for a second. We’re hoping custom skins for the older version still work for it without problems. You can grab MyMobiler 1.25 beta from the developer’s website. Let us know if you notice any other changes.

HTC has released yet another update for the HTC HD2, this time a full ROM update, to address the persistent issue of SMS messages not being sent.

If you experience the slider is hard to unlock in v2.24, please try this hot fix.

Changes of v2.24
- added option to change the information text size (S2U2 Settings -> Appearance).
- fixed an occasional system hang when stopping iLock2 & ActiveSync was running.
- tried to maintain the system idle time when the device is locked (when "Don't lock system" is turned OFF).
if you still want to have full control on this idle time, turn ON "Don't lock system"; otherwise it's still limited to 15 seconds.
- fixed the system SMS notification was not dismissed after reading the SMS on some devices.
- fixed the long press Answer key problem introduced by v2.22.
if the long press Answer key function still cannot be assigned normally, stop iLock2 & then delete the \windows\long_send.lnk first.
- fixed an occasional issue that S2P was invoked during BT file transfer (again).
- speeded up the transition between different orientation.
- improved the CallerID compatibility on some non-English devices.
- changed the DPAD function; it also can be unlocked by pressing the BACK key (S2U2 Settings -> Others).
- a few minor bugs fixed.

” Hi, folks! It’s me again with the latest version of the hdWobble app. Although it looks like the previous one, this version is done from scratch. It is based on the OpenGL ES library for Windows mobile. I recently got my self a new HTC HD2 phone, and since it is supporting multitouch technology I decided to see if I can use it in this app. As it is shown in the video, I managed to implement pinch-zooming and rotation of the loaded image as well as resizing of the wobbling area. There are lots of things that need to be polished and implemented, but I hope that this version will live to see it, unlike the previous one. There is no download available yet. At first it will be released only for the HTC HD2 device. As soon as it is completed I will release it for download. Not sure yet if it is going on the Marketplace or not. Anyway, enjoy the existing app and this clip, and stay tuned for the updates. “

1) To install this HSPL there must be SPL 1.42.0000 on your device.
Otherwise the installation will fail!
To check your SPL version, hold the Volume Down button and do a reset.
It is possible to downgrade to this SPL, by just flashing to an Official ROM
with this SPL version.

2) Features
- Disabled CID Check, so you can flash any official ROM without using a Gold Card.
- Security Level = 0, so you can use all the boot loader commands (for developers).
- This HSPL will not get overwritten when flashing a full NBH with SPL via RUU.
- No NBH signatures check, so you can flash unsigned ROM images.

3) Warranty Issues
Be warned, Installing HSPL may void your warranty.
If you need to send your device to a Repair Centre,
make sure that you uninstall HSPL!

4) Uninstallation
Only way to remove the HSPL is to flash an original SPL from SD card.
- Take any "RUU_signed.nbh" from a ship ROM and copy it to SD card.
- Rename it to "leoimg.nbh"
- Reset the device while pressing the volume down button.

Troubleshooting:

I have SPL 1.42.666 on the device.... !!!! WAIT !!!! SPL 1.42.6666 is not the version of the SPL on your device!... it is the SSPL version. Most likely you have the needed 1.42.0000 SPL on the device, just try to install this HSPL if you need it. Don't worry, if there is not the right SPL on the device, then u will get an error message, but nothing will happen to your device

"Your OS ROM isn't customized for your hardware. Please reflash the proper ROM code or contact the service center", !!! Problem NOT related to HSPL !!! ... this means that you flashed a region protected rom... flash any other rom that has your region ID... or patch it

The 21885 Build is from the OEM COM2 Tree and is the most reliable and bug free release. I recommend you start with this first!

[Resource] Flashing your First GSM LEO Rom (For Noobs)

This guide is being set in place ready for when HardSPL is finished and ready for flashing. Until then I will put information about the various flashing techniques available right now and what they offer.

1. Flashing a STOCK Rom using microSD Card with GoldCard

This method uses a microSD Card which has been patched with a GoldCard to allow you to flash STOCK Rom images via the bootloader. Using this method you can change your stock Rom, STOCK Radio and STOCK SPL to any of the ones available *HERE*

Using the GoldCard Method you cannot flash a custom Rom

2. Flashing a CUSTOM Rom using an SSPL Rom Update Utility

This method uses a software based Secondary Program Loader to be able to flash any Custom Rom that you can find in the LEO ROM Development Forum. At the moment most Cutom Roms are being packed up with the SSPL Ruu so all you have to do is download the Rom, synch your device with your pc and run it.

Using SSPL you can ONLY flash a Custom Rom Image. You CANNOT use SSPL method to change your Radio.

If you want to change your Radio and put a Custom Rom on your phone then first flash a Stock Rom using the GoldCard Method to update your Radio and then flash your Custom Rom using the SSPL.

3. HardSPL

A Hard SPL is a secondary program loader that is permanently flashed in your device memory and will boot up every time your device boots. It has been patched to allow flashing of ROMs that are not from the vendor or region your phone is from. Most notably, they can allow you to use "cooked" ROMS. You can also you HardSPL to flash different Radios or splash screens.

The SPL that is shipped with your device, or upgraded from an official ROM is a Hard SPL. In short, if it is loaded into your device's firmware, and survives a hard-reset it is considered Hard.

As soon as HardSPL is available I will post instructions on how to flash it, how to use HardSPL to flash custom Roms and Radios as well as a link to the creators thread.

Useful Information

How to get into your Bootloader
1. Turn your phone off
2. Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN then Press and hold the POWER button. After about 3 seconds the tri-coloured screen should appear.
3. To exit Bootloader you need to remove your back cover and pull the battery out for a few seconds, then replace it and press the power button to reboot your phone.

How to perform a HardReset
Hard Resetting deletes ALL personal data and settings and restores your phone to factory default conditions as if you turned on the phone for the first time after purchasing.

1. With the device turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then briefly press the POWER button.
2. Continue pressing the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons until you see this message on the screen:
"This operation will delete all your personal data, and reset all settings to the manufacturer default settings. Press VolUp to restore manufacturer defaults, or press other keys to cancel."
3. Release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
4. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.

You can also use Clear Storage to reset your device back to factory default settings.
1. On the Home screen, slide to the Settings tab and then tap All Settings.
2. On the System tab, tap Clear Storage.
3. Enter “1234” and then tap Yes.

Make sure you back up all your data such as Contacts, Appointments, messages etc or they will be gone forever.
